Cleaning, Sealing and Protection of High Voltage Insulators

Formulated and designed for the protection of High Voltage Insulators against electrical flash-over caused by the combination of dust and moisture within the atmosphere, by forming a hydrophobic layer to seal the surface, this protective film does not dry out and is also UV resistant.

With SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 80.750 maintenance cycles are extended and costly downtimes are significantly reduced. Furthermore, it is suitable for cleaning and sealing heavily soiled, smooth and scratch resistant surfaces in one single cleaning pass, simply apply with cloth and polish.

SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 83.750

Cleaning, Sealing and Protection of Plastic, Resin, Composite and Silicone Insulators

SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 83.750 has been formulated and developed to overcome the problem that the insulators are exposed to high levels of dust and coupled with high humidity form a formidable layer of dirt.

Similar to SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 80.750, also for SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 83.750  it is recommended to apply SAEKA-Silicone Grease 81.750 in areas liable to high humidity or air pollution for additional protection.

SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 83.750 is solvent free, dermatologically tested and contains physiologically safe abrasives, oils and greases. The product is non-hazardous, no special equipment or extensive Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is needed during the application process.

SAEKA-Silicone Grease 81.750

Dirt Repllent Sealer for Enhanced Protection in Areas of High Contamination and Pollution

SAEKA-Silicone Grease 81.750 prevents the formation of a continuous water film on insulators in areas with very high humidity and high dust contamination and thus protects against flash overs and destruction. Furthermore, in areas polluted with flue-ashes or salts, the additional protection of surfaces with SAEKA-Silicone Grease 81.750 is essential.

SAEKA-Silicone Grease 81.750 is applied with a soft brush or cloth to an approximate thickness of 0.3mm (300 microns) and then fully polished until the surface is non-stick and almost shiny. For the cleaning of ceramic and resin insulators, use in conjunction with SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 80.750 and SAEKA-Cleaning Paste 83.750, respectively.
